in this situation, on April 29th, 2009, the Ministry of finance, the Ministry of science and technology, the national energy administration and the State Electricity Corporation jointly held the golden sun project coordination meeting. State Grid Corporation of China actively responded to the requirements of the national golden sun project and proposed to plan and construct one to two 100 megawatt level landmark demonstration projects in North China or the western region from point to area and from point to area, opening the curtain on the construction of the national scenic energy storage and transmission demonstration project. Located in Bashang Zhangbei area of Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, one of the national ten million kilowatt wind power bases, the national wind energy storage and transmission demonstration project is the largest large-scale new energy friendly integrated demonstration project integrating wind power, photovoltaic power generation, energy storage and intelligent dispatching transmission projects in the world. The project plans to build 500000 kW wind farms, 100000 kW photovoltaic power stations and 110000 kW energy storage devices. In the first phase of the project, 100000 kW of wind power, 40000 kW of photovoltaic power generation and 20000 kW of energy storage will be constructed, and a 220 kV intelligent substation will be built. The first phase of the national scenery storage and transmission demonstration project generates an average of 260million kwh per year, reducing the consumption of about 93600 tons of standard coal and about 180000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year

after the completion of the national scenery storage and transmission demonstration project, it will become a new energy demonstration project with the highest level of intelligent operation and the most flexible and diverse operation modes in China. The construction of the project will drive the technological upgrading of wind power and photovoltaic power generation related industries, which are usually maintained at 380 ℃, promote the introduction of technical standards and management regulations for wind power and photovoltaic power generation, and promote the sound and rapid development of the national new energy industry
